Australia in Winter

June to August is a fantastic time of year to visit Australia. All of our hidden gems are accessible throughout these winter months. The Northern Territory, Northern Queensland, and North Western Australia are flourishing over this period. Endless days of sunshine and blue skies across the country, with galaxies of stars and phenomenal outback and cultural experiences to be found. The southern states are cooler, making way for cozy winter escapes laden with cracking wood fires, aromatic red wines paired with decadent meals.

Our enticing turquoise waters are glistening and ready for avid swimmers and divers to frolic with our many marine mammals including our migrating whales and whale sharks, turtles, manta rays and vibrant coral gardens. Winter is also the perfect time to visit one of the many national parks, the cooler weather bringing hikers form far and wide. Our kangaroos and native wildlife are basking in the winter sunshine ready for any astute holiday maker!
